Heheee...this picture brought back memories ....Christ ..those Booster injections ...which you have to take till you are 13 or something ...I remember I even slapped a nurse , when she tried to poke me ....
Another incident was...when i shook really hard and the needle got twisted ...was too funny ...
It took me loads of coaxing and of course ... ice-creams to complete the course of injections !!!
And then , some wise guy came up with Hepatatis vaccinations .... Oh noooo.....
The worst part is ,now you can't even throw tantrums in the clinic ...and btw its the same nurse who gives me the injections ...she take her sweet revenge , everytime i go there ....
Whoever invented injections !!!

Anyways, my mom's a doc, and she's been giving me shots for my entire life - but this once, I went to a paediatrician - whom she knew and when he was about to give me the shot, I started abusing him ( with whatever vocabulary I had when I was 5 ) and my mom was sooo embarrased.
She narrates this incident even today :S

i grew up with injections .... 1 every 15 says...i dunno what the big deal is....they hurt for 1 second only.....unless of course they push the piston of the injection a bit too hard.....i would rather a injection that fixes in two minutes than 10 days on tablets

Its the fear of highly pointed objects ...at the tender age of 5-6 yrs , where logic of that magnitude does not exist !!!

Same here;) Stillll needle-o-phobic. Last time a Needle poked me[before the recent bout of typhoid:(] was 3 year ago. They took blood samples 3 Times a Day for 2 Weks!. And that too, there was a nurse who seemingly had to poke around 3 or 4 times to find a vein! Horror horror horror...
Well, I became needle-o-phobic at that time, and I am Still Needle-o-Phobic;)
